The Williamsville Police Department provides a safe, convenient, and anonymous way to dispose of unused or expired medications. Proper disposal helps protect our community and environment.

24/7 Drug Drop-Off Box

A secure drug disposal box is located inside the lobby of the Williamsville Police Department. The drop-off box is available during lobby hours for anonymous, no-questions-asked disposal of unwanted medications.

How to Use the Drop-Off Box

Remove from Packaging

Remove medications from original containers. Remove any personal information from labels.

Place in a Bag

Place medications in a clear, sealed plastic bag before depositing.

Drop Off

Visit the police department lobby and deposit the bag into the secure collection box.

DEA National Take-Back Events

The DEA hosts National Prescription Drug Take-Back events twice a year, typically in April and October. During these events, additional collection sites may be available. Visit the DEA website for upcoming event information.
